Just re-read the original post. If Albert Gee owned a butcher's shop in 1920, maybe we should be searching for someone older than the Bertie I found in 1911.

If Eleanor's birth was in 1878, is it perhaps a bit unrealistic to partner her at 41/42 with a 19 year old in 1920 and having a daughter?? Either her birth was later or there was another Albert Gee?

Albert Gee is my maternal grandfather. Unfortunately I know very little about him, but would like to try to trace his line in the family tree. In 1920, he was living in Boston Lincs and owned his butcher's shop. He and my grandmother never married, but had a child Margaret Gee in 1920. My grandmother was called Eleanor Bower (Nellie) and was born in Chesterfield in 1878. Unfortunately a few years later they went their separate ways and this is everything I know about him. Can anyone out there lease help me?
