Albert Gee is my maternal grandfather. Unfortunately I know very little about him, but would like to try to trace his line in the family tree. In 1920, he was living in Boston Lincs and owned his butcher's shop. He and my grandmother never married, but had a child Margaret Gee in 1920. My grandmother was called Eleanor Bower (Nellie) and was born in Chesterfield in 1878. Unfortunately a few years later they went their separate ways and this is everything I know about him. Can anyone out there lease help me?

If Eleanor's birth was in 1878, is it perhaps a bit unrealistic to partner her at 41/42 with a 19 year old in 1920 and having a daughter?? Either her birth was later or there was another Albert Gee?

Given Richardson's age, Albert Gee may well have taken over the running of the shop by 1920?

For everyone who suggested Eleanor as the child of Edward and Hannah, you are correct and I have traced back even further, it was only Albert Gee who I could not trace as I have so little information to start with. Thanks for all your suggestions, but unfortunately most Alberts seem to be too old. The date of birth for Eleanor is definitely correct as she was 42 when my mother was born
