Looks like that is who he married and there seems to be four chidren

looks like he married Sophie Carter in 1950 its on FreeBMD

Theres 5 births for Harvey/Carter showing too on FreeBMD Chelmsford and Colchester

Or possibly this death for Thomas?

Wivenhoe came under Lexden and Colchester at different times Thanks for the PM Will investigate. That seems a good possibility. My sister in law does no know what happend to the Harveys as she lost contact after her divorce from his brother Ivan in Australia and his later death

Been researching my sister in laws family. Reginald Harvey b 18/09/1928 in Wivenhoe Essex . Father Thomas Harvey Mother May Elizabeth Whittle. I have all details on his birth but cannot find his marriage or children. Tried GR and Free BMD. My sister in law says he married and had.several children as far as she remembers . No idea who he married . She married his brother Alan Ivan Harvey and they went to Australia.
