Oh, well done Christina! Looks like that tree on Ancestry is incorrect then. Happens so often that people just look on the census and don't research further and attach the wrong people to their trees! |

Hi everybody, Thank you so much for all your replies they have been more than helpful. I knew about the Wedllock/Wedlake connection but was unsure about the Widlake side of things. Also the spelling of Wedden varies a lot and he went on to be William Wedlake so it is quite confusing. My apologies for not replying sooner but am having eye treatment and my sight is not too good somedays. :-D |
