Ah just seen a Amelia Dean on the 1891 census - born 1832, Hampshire, residence 1891 Southampton, Hampshire.
Is anyone free to look this one up please?

I've gone through all the children's names listed above for the Fordingbridge on the 1861 and 1871 notes above and these are the only possibilities I can find:
William H Dean birth 1857 - South Stoneham (nothing under Stone)
Mary Ann Dean - no birth under Dean but a Mary Ann Stone 1859 - S Stoneham
George Dean - George Stone the same 2 listed above 1865 S Stoneham
Martha Dean -Martha Stone birth 1861 - S Stoneham (nothing under Dean)
Amelia - can't find under Dean or Stone
Kate - can't find under Dean or Stone

As Amelia and William didn't marry until 1866 the children go off been registered under mother's maiden name Stone but not that consistent for all.

Having trouble finding any of them on any future census reports especially Amelia and her husband William.

Any ideas please would be great.

Re. The 1871 Fordingbridge census, I noted that there was Mary who should show in 1861, so looked for the family

Do you know of anyway to search for William Dean's death. I know we don't have a year but would the occupation be listed at all? Could only narrow it down between 1866 to 1899, possibly Farringdon or Southampton though so actually as i'm typing this, I'm thinking no.

On Ancestry I can see 2 possible matches for a George Dean based on age and birthplace. Is anyone free to look these up for me and post details at all please?

1871 census - George Dean - age 4 - estimated birth year 1867 - Southampton,. Registration district Portsea Island.

Looking at FreeBMD - I cannot find a birth for just a George Dean in Southampton for 1866/67. Still just the George HW Dean which does now seem to be a different man.

1. Raymond Bishop 1895, Faringdon - 3 children. Raymond passed away.
2. George Dean - 1899, Faringdon, 4 children and by the 1911 census Martha lists herself as a widow so need to try and find a possible death record for George.
3. William Brakspear - 1812 - Faringdon - 3 children

So really just trying to track down George Dean, any records really

It's George Dean who I'm trying to trace (have Martha's line sorted)

Need to try and see if I can find George Dean listed on any of the census reports with his father William. Hopefully it should state William's occupation as a Plumber. Think Southampton and Berkshire are the place to try and start.
