I have just had a look at some of those trees on Ancestry and they have William Chick Ferry with parents William and Mary Young Chick and his father as William and mother Mirium both born Dorset and then I found this marriage on IGI familysearch.

The marriages listed above do not show a William Ferry as you say but looking on FREEBMD there is an entry and the actual image lists a William Ferry marriage in Lymington. All of the above names you list are also stated on here?

Found this and am wondering now about the baptism of William Cheek Ferry could it have been Chick as it is about the right time.
