Oops sorry Kath, just seen your post, yes it says he is 20 yrs old...I have his birth ref; as Dec 1901, so I hope its the right guy. |

Yes, I think that will be my next step...I only recieved the marriage certificate an hour ago, which states Cecil George's age in 1922 as 20 yrs old and I know he was born in Hackney, I just wanted to make sure I had the right person before purchasing another certificate.....thankyou all, for all your help, you've given me something to concentrate on while I wait another week for the certificate to arrive!...xx :-) |

I think you need Cecil George's birth certificate to find his mother's name and the father's occupation when Cecil was born. |

Thanks Reggie...I am going by Cecil George Hall's 1922 marriage certificate, which say's his father's name was George Hall - occupation a 'timekeeper' all I know is that Cecil George was born in Hackney. |
