Find Ancestors

On behalf of a relative, I'm trying to find information on Richard Pattin Corner. His family came from Sithney, near Helston, Cornwall and can be traced back to 1600. If there is anyone who might be interested in this line, I can arrange for details to be forwarded. Richard's brother, Mary Ann Corner, married Henry Rule who was born in Camborne. It is believed that Henry died in 1844, and that Mary Ann Corner emigrated to Australia arriving in Adelaide on the Bolton in 1848. She died in Bendigo in 1862. Does anyone know more about her and her family including the following:
1. Is anything known about her time in Australia and in particular in Bendigo where she died?
2. Bendigo was associated with the gold rush of 1851. Did Mary have any connections?
3.Did she travel to Australia on her own or with other members of her family? Her son John Rule was in Bendigo, but did he precede or follow her?
4. What was Henry Rule's occupation and did any of Henry and Jane's children follow in his footsteps.

A Google search found a reference to "John Rule Cornwall to Bendigo" on Ancestry Message Board. Peter Williams is a major contributor and in his posting of 1st May 2012 at 12.12. He states that John Rule was the son of Henry Rule and Mary Ann Corner. His interest might be primarily the Rule family but thought that it could be worth contacting him in the hope that he might have information on the Corner side of the family. Any help that he might be able to give would be most gratefully received!
