For what it's worth, I think Brummiejan is right , and the Puschke family is the 'Owen' family. |

One of the witnesses of the 1914 marriage of Daisy Owen to Henry William Lowe that Brummiejan posted was a Florence Ashby. |

This is making sense.. My nan's birthday (Ann Owen was Aug 1883) and a witness on her mariage certificate th Francis Fugazza in 1909 was F Ashby. :-D |

Also my Grandad used to say to my mum my nan was german. We just didn't know what he meant. |

So Florence Ashby seems to be a definite link between 'your' Ann Owen, and the Puschke aka Owen family that Brummiejan discovered. :-) |

I think that evidence is pretty overwhelming don't you? But I would suggest getting the birth cert for Ann Puschke to double-check. |

It's been a pleasure, lots of fun for the gang unravelling this one! We always need a bit of luck though - if they hadn't been living at Daisy's address in 1911 I don't think we would ever have found them. |
