Just out of curiosity...

is your Susan the Susan Tapp who was delivered of twins in Feb 1862, one of whom, Mary Ann, then died and was the subject of a trial. Living in Catherine St at the time

also in court in the case of Taverner v Grant in 1865 (living Smythen St which she had moved into in that year)

and was in court defending another fight in 1869

argumentative family????

Ann Cardiff -please leave me alone

I have done hours and hours of lookups for other people too! - many of whom never even say thanks-but I enjoy the hunting around.
I have clearly stated what info I need-and what is unecessary to lookup-I would never ask people to waste their time deliberatleey-and It was all about many differnt elusive members of a very large family I am not taking the mickey. the last Time I asked for help trying to find this particular person was over two years ago!

I know Janet-laughable isn't it-and the cheek of taking it to court two years later! don't think that would happen now LOL.

Ann Cardiff-I am not asking anyone to help me that doesn't want to-and am not asking anyone to repeat things eihter. I have clearly stated what I would liek help with-and what I already have. If you are not inetrested then get off my thread!

I findif you have one very very long one then it gets too confusing anyway. AND its all about differnt people-not the same one. Please stop being so nasty.

ALso since GR have changed the layout I couldn't find my threads at all.
since I had them pointed out to me-I found them-but there is still info i require-that is why I am asking. Please leave me alone and go and pick on someone else

Not sure who the Elizabeth Tapp age 15 is either- unless another sister without a baptism! She certainly doesn't appear with them in Exeter-although Susan calls her daughter bessy(Short for E) and- Bessy had a daughter she called Elizabeth-so although a popular name-could be another point in the story.

maybe I'll check the deaths again!

Familyfinder Report 16 Oct 2012 13:49

thats def them in 1841- and susan as 'Susan' very kindly posted is out at work. And the father john has died-So i think those baptisms are correct-Its just missing the susan one to concrete it . I will order te Susan Tapp marriage I think though-and hopefully by her age, fathers name and the witnessess hopefully be able to clarify if yes or no!

Astra Report 16 Oct 2012 12:06

Re the baptisms above to John and Mary this looks like the family in 1841. But there isn't a baptism for a Susan to this couple that I can find.

maybe I'l orde that marriage cert then- a stab in the dark- but worth a go I think-At least now I know the Father was John Tapp-thanks very much

Familyfinder

Familyfinder Report 16 Oct 2012 11:15

oh -I see you found a MaryAnn Tapp baptism too-with same parents- wel that wasn't on what i had before! I had only found the two Georges. She's not on my museum print out either.! thank you

Familyfinder

Familyfinder Report 16 Oct 2012 11:12

It could-but I just don't know. I got a whole load of 'Tapp' stuff from teignmouth museum-but there were a couple of Mary Tapps with husbands-and they both had sons called george :-S -so haven't ruled it out but just don't know.

Ithought of ordering the Mary Ann Tapp 1864 marriage-but as I don't know her Father's name for certain-I couldn't prove it was her I don't think either. just stuck.

No she doesn't seem to appear with susan again. Susan is on herown in 1881 too. I think she's either married or died-but can't find anything of either. She just vanishes!
