My uncle, Harry, moved to Ilkeston at some point. My research shows there is a strong family connection to that area, and I believe Harry might have moved there to be near family. He was married to Elizabeth and they had a son, John who was born in 1949. I’d love to know what happened to John

If Jack was her grandfather, you need to know her grandmother's name or which of Jack's children is your mate's wife's parent

I am trying to find out his ancestors for a mate at work his wife was a Harrison before she wed Andy Taylor all I know so far are those I have written. Jack was her grandfather and she things her gg granddad was called Reuben.

When you say from Ilkeston, do you mean he lived there or was born there ?
