Thank you again for your replies. Andrew I think you are right as I have the marriage for Handel to an Elizabeth Feather. That marriage didn't last long did it?

Any help with the other queries would be great if anyone has any ideas pleae.

Hi all, thank you once again for all your help but am still trying to find the first marriage for William Rossini Parker as he is given as a widow on the marriage cert when he married Louise and also a death for him. As ever any help is much appreciated. Am off to work now so won't be on here until after 6pm tonight. Thanks again.

Good morning all GR Members. Firstly may I wish you all a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR. Secondly, thank you for all your help and contributions to my threads throughout the past year.

I am still on the trail of William Rossini Parker. I now have the ER from 1939 which I obtained from the Find My Past site.

It gives William listed as living at Flat 1, 53 Riding House Street, Marleybone.

He is show as being Parker. Rossini. W date of birth 23 December 1876. His occupation is given as being a Travelling Theatrical Musician. William is living at this address with his wife Nora Parker aka Noreen there are two different dates of birth for her. You will note that she was born Louise Noreen Horette Noel. I have found my Great Aunt in later ER's given as Nora and Noreen. Anyhow, as you will also perhaps note she died in 1970. After the 1939 ER, I do not find William listed with her in any of the future ER's. Following on from the 1939 ER the next ER I find is in 1945 up to 1961. There is no sign of William in any of the ER's after 1939. Were there any ER's listed between 1939 and 1945, if so can anyone please help?

I am basically trying to find what happened to William after 1939 and when he died. Believe may I have tried.

Also, when William marries Louise in 1916 he is given as being a Widower, aged 39 years and place of residence at time of marriage as being 12 Eltham Street, Bradford. William was living in 1911 and 1912 at 184 Harrow Road, Paddington and is given on the 1911 Census as being Widowed.

Hope I am not confusing everyone. I tend to jump all over the place.

Any help as ever would be greatly appreciated. I do have a copy of the 1939 ER but obviously can't attach it, but if anyone would like to see it then please let me know and I can attach it to a PM.

Is Louise recorded as a widow on her death certificate? (Just for confirmation)

There are these deaths for William R Parker born 1876/1877/1878 - have you investigated them?

You could also look in the 1939 census for William R Parkers in those towns where the deaths occurred, to try and eliminate a few of them.

Thank you all for the information you have provided. I'm amazed at the find re the administration of Louise. It didn’t come up on Ancestry when I'd looked to see if there was a will/probate. Am going to save that link for any future reference.
