WW1 soldiers/sailors/airmen etc seem to be a good possibility for creative ages. Some lied because they were too young to enlist. Maybe some lied because they were too old. In Walter/Edgar's case - by 1914 he would really have been 34. But in 1911 was war a possibility?? |

IF the Portsmouth 1911 is him, is it possible that he lied about his age and said he was 5 years younger than he actually was? It definitely says 26 |

Thats why i couldn't find his birth because he was known as Walter Edgar but born as Edgar Walter. |

If you can find death Tempest would that give his birth date ??, he was definetly in the navy though and not the army. |
