Looks like she was a live-in housekeeper in 1851 and eventually took on the roll of wife but ....Maybe they never married. |

I wonder if perhaps she was married to his brother then became a widow, hence having the same surname and she then went onto have children with George? Mystery |

Hi, I'm trying to find a marriage record for a George Hambidge. From the 1871 census I have his year of birth as 1811, Eaton Hastings, Berkshire. I know he married a Rachel but I cannot find any marriage record or details of her maiden name. |
