Can we clarify - your grandmother was the daughter of Margaret Tully and John Fraser.........is that correct?

When did John Fraser die? - he'd have had to for Margaret to marry a Hamilton

Hamilton who had a daughterr Helen born 1861 Idont know if they had any
other children I found margaret's name from my granmother's birth cert
as she was married to John Fraser my GGrandad this was her maiden
name my grandmother was their daughter Ann Norra hopethis helps

This Birth record from Scotlandspeople should have were parents married ,if they did.

So , if I understand your post, the woman's name was not Tully when she married Hamilton - IF she married him.

Why didn't you mention Fraser in your first post?

You haven't said where you got the info - by that I mean what documentary evidence you have.

You called the daughter Ellen in your original post - please clarify what her name was, and how you found out about her.
