Why the sudden change of direction with Ellen? In 1861 she is shown as unmarried and she would have been very young to have been widowed

Hello still stuck.When i first posted this thread i was looking for a Ellen Harpham b 1842.It now looks possible that Ellen was in fact a Ellen Whiteley who married a joseph Harpham before her marriage to Charles Marrison.In 1861 Ellen is living with Elizabeth Harpham mother of Joseph b1841.No Joseph on census.With Ellen and Elizabeth are a Thomas Harpham b 1858 and a Jane Harpham who is said to be seven but now wonder if it should have said 1 they are the grandchildren of Elizabeth.In 1871 Jane is gone but Thomas is still with Ellen and is said to be nephew.I wonder if you can help me find the siblings of Joseph Harpham so i can trace their parentage.As far as i can tell they were born Worksop Notts.Thank you

dont know whether this is of any use have found a marriage in west retford where ellen mother was born between francis harpham to elizabeth burton 27 11 1832 west retford
found this baptism elizabeth harpham to francis and elizabeth 20 5 1833 east retford father labourer of moss s row

Thank you for your replies.The 1861 census is only what i managed to find.I dont think the two grandchildren of Elizabeth on this sencus were the children of Ellen so i am presuming that Ellen must have had other siblings and Elizabeth is given as a widow
