	Earlier census returns definately have him being born in Stockton.

	Yes I did see that but do not know how close. Sometime places of birth are recorded wrongly.

	George W Robinson was born in Stockton on Tees, Co. Durham in 1858. He was the informant on his fathers' death certificate in 1909 and his address was given as Wapping Street, South Shields. Try as I might I can't find him on the 1901 census, I have tried all kinds of combinations . . . . can somebody please help?
