Well I cannot see her with a father called Samuel nor a marriage for her parents,
can you post this census please maybe I missed it
The trouble with death certs is that the information about the parents may not be correct as the person giving the info may have got it wrong.
Marriage certs could be more accurate

Ian If anything could be found someone would have posted it, I have spent many hours looking
As for the Alice Hewitt census you have posted...why do you think that was her? If she left the UK I am sure she would be on a passenger list?

Hi Tony I have gone through the great Link you supplied to me looking for arrivals of all the Lloyds, Hewitt, and Simmon family member on this topic no luck so far Ian
Here is a point all of Certs give Frederick George Lloyd as being from Hastings? is there an Hastings in Queensland? is this why I cannot find him or his family on UK records

Hi I have spent most of the day going through UK BDM genealogy records trying to find this couple Frederick Lloyd and Elizabeth Simmons and their son Frederick George Lloyd b1868 Hastings, Sussex, England with no luck at all so far Can anyone see a marriage for Fred and Elizabeth or a birth for Frederick George. I found four possible F G Lloyd@s in Paddington London, Bedwelty Wales, Ipswich, Norfolk and one in somerset all born around 1868 when I followed these through none connect to Australia and all marry in the UK.
We know that Frederick George married Alice Hewitt in 1912 Queensland this cert gives Frederick Lloyd as father and Elizabeth Simmons mother. Would you take a look for me please Ian

Thank you TonyOz I agree you you it is not our Alice I believe this is Alice in the UK 1911 census
Name: Alice Hewitt Age in 1911: 26 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1885 Relation to Head: Servant Gender: Female Birth Place: Bickerton, Cheshire, England Civil parish: Bulkeley and Ridley County/Island: Cheshire Country: England Street Address: Bulkeley Lange Malpas Cheshire Marital Status: Single Occupation: General Servant (domestic) Registration district: Nantwich Registration District Number: 449 Sub-registration district: Bunbury ED, institution, or vessel: 03 Piece: 21819 Household Members: Name Age Herbert Bruce Brassey 38 Mary Constance Brassey 34 Kate Harding 36 Alice Hewitt 26 Millian Vickers 19
the above Alice's parents are as earlier data Samuel and Margaret Johnson.
So in 1911 she is in the UK and then in 11/1/1912 she married in Queensland she must have traveled to Australia during 1911

Hi Ian. Regarding your relo's arriving in Australia will depend on what part/state/territory they arrived to. Victoria,NSW, Queensland, ect.....each state holding their own immigration records. A death cert "should" supply imformation on how long the deceased has been in a particular state. Imformation supplied on Australian certs are "normally" quite good....but this can vary, pending on who supplies the info on the cert. ( Informant )
Online searching for shipping/passenger records only supply searching up to 1900 plus/minus 6 years ( Pending on state archives )
The N.A.A ( National Archives of Australia ) may hold his immigration records.
http://www.naa.gov.au/collection/using/search/ "Search as a guest"
Tony ( Victoria ) ps. A death certh should supply age at death....again pending on what information was supplied by informant.

As I said last There is a tree on ancestry mentioning the parents and also says he was born in Hastings....well I could'nt see a marriage for the parents, his birth or them on the census.
But I should have found that marriage and death...maybe I was tired :-)

Hi MarieCeleste please don't say sorry you and you friends have been a brilliant help with my research. Would you consider it likely that his parents Frederick and Elizabeth were in Australia? I can not find any record of this family traveling over Ian
