I know nothing at all about him. He is just a name on a marriage certificate . If he died at sea his death would be reported,????? or how was Sarah able to claim she was a widow??? It's all a bit wierd to me lol |

Hi I have tried on every free site to find the death of William Oakes according to his marriage lines he was of full age when he married in Plymouth 19 November 1852 ,and a widower I know nothing about him. His widow Sarah re-married and according to her second marriage certificate dated 22 August 1858 she was a widow. |
