Just posting Ancestry details - not found 1881 yet - is there another Edith born 1863 though? [EDIT: apologies, misremembering from yesterday, Edith A Denton b Chester abt 1863 (1891 census)] |

Yes, Patchem that was the one - just a thought that she may have been with family and 'dittoed'as Booth, and as she was born in Chorlton. Another one to discount it seems |

Do you mean this one? |

Is it possible she was staying with family and mistranscribed as Booth?? |

Well I've been over in Tullamore but think I may have the wrong family. I was following what looked like her brother Arthur L T b 1870 but never picked up on a sister. When was she born please? Was it Sophie H. EDIT Found her. |

Nicola - I can only suggest you look up every single member of her family and her husband's that you know of and see if she's lurking ... |

I agree with Stuart that she is probably badly written/transcribed. She's not with her husband and only child in 1901; husband a very respectable solicitor and they're all together in 1911 in a HUGE seventeen room house in a posh part of London. |

My personal view is that she could well be visiting another family member, since they were a large and close family. |

Patchem, I did try to imply that she was 'missing' on the 1901! - |

You did not say that husband and daughter are on 1901 without her: |
