I know the names of the siblings through an elderly Aunt, Thomas was a Commercial Traveller on his marriage certificate, gives Joseph as an Engineer, he is listed as being a paper manufacturer in New Mills Derbyshire, High Street up to about 1925. On the marriage certificate it gives residence as Strensall York, but I think this may have been a barracks. Thomas was committed to Mickleover Lunatic Asylum in approx 1935 where he died probably late 1950s early 1960s. I need to find Thomas's birth certificate and though that by researching Joseph I might be able to find more about the family. There was talk of their being a paper mill in the family but this may just be legend. Haven't been able to find Joseph anywhere. This side of the family wasn't spoken about by the family generally so they are a bit of a mystery especially with the surname Turner.

Can anybody help me trace Joseph Turner, listed on his son Thomas's marriage cert as an Engineer, he had sons Thomas, William, Harry, Percy and Muriel. His son Thomas was married in New Mills at St George's Church New Mills to Caroline Wood in 1917. If possible I would like to know the name of his wife and his date of birth, and possibly any information on the family in general. He may have had connections in Yorkshire, or possibly Dove Holes in Derbyshire.
