After contacting Gladys's DIL I now have the correct spelling for Marian (not (Marion) and her birth year 1920. |

Sorry, I'm being bombarded with help faster than I can assimilate it, and I'm trying to eat toast and drink tea at same time ! LOL! |

Yes Frank - I explained that on page one. I actually have two names that different people know me by! |

I'm getting confused now. Harolds wife was originally Mary, but searches showed that she was in fact Polly. |

Well I'm clearly going to have to ask these questions from Gladys DIL, anything is possible hopefully that will help us find where Marion fits into the picture. |

Harold was also born in Halifax so it looks like the Marian that I gave is not the person you were looking for |

There was another child, a son called Harold born in 1914 died in 1993, I have his details and I know who he married. |

As you are most probably aware, Frank, there are quite a number of Herbert Buckleys whose families were in Halifax and Oldham. What we need to know is what you know to be correct so that we can work back from that. |

Frank - Herbert's wife IS shown as Mary on the 1911. Perhaps (like myself) she was known by more than one name? |

I got Mary Jones by looking at someone elses tree, so it looks like they got it wrong ! I'm confident about Edwin and his wife, they are my great grandparents, Rufus is my Grandfather. |

Yes Herberts Father was Edwin Buckley and his wife was Mary Harrison |
