I am trying to find out anything regarding EJ Pedersen, who I believe was the second wife(?) of Conrad Pedersen,. She died in 1957 in Yeovil, Somerset. |

Thanks - that's as far as I have got. She was listed on my grandfather's death certificate as 'wife'. I'd love to know more about her and her family. |

They could have been married abroad, or she may have been his 'common law wife'. Knowing a little about him I would have thought they did marry. |

Thank you for your efforts. I still am not really any nearer to EJ Pedersen, found on Conrad's death certificate and listed as 'wife'. Conrad's sons were all born in Liverpool - that is all correct. His first wife Pauline died a few years after he did after living for about 40 years with Charles McAllister whom she did eventually marry in 1952 - the year Conrad died. I have an Eva J Pedersen, who could well be the same lady, who died in 1957 (2nd quarter). |

So would seem that his wife Pauline was informed Conrad had died which then left her free to marry. So this goes back to Eva and Conrad not being married as he was still married and didn't divorce. |

Glitter-Baby - I had spotted that mistake in the transcript - it took me a long time to find her because of that. Certainly she was Pedersen at that stage. She didn't become McAllister until 1952. I did contact Genesreunited months ago about this transcript error. Glad someone else has spotted it! |
