All of Albert's brothers and sister are dead. Albert never spoke to anyone in the family (don't know why) but he once was walking down the road and bumped into my gt grandad (his brother) but they exchanged very few words.

Thanks

Thanks but he would have been born Kensington (London) or Middlesex.

Sorry. Thanks.

HeyJudeB4Beatles Report 2 Jan 2012 14:26

If he was 24 when he died (above) then his birth would have been 1920...so the children born would both be suspicious - 1936 because he'd have been only 16 and 1946 because he was dead!

I would say this is a different Albert E..maybe this one (with a twin)

Surname First name(s) Mother District Vol Page

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Births Mar 1920 (>99%)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Brazier Albert E Hart St. Albans 3a 2003
Brazier Henry C Hart St. Albans 3a 2003

So I would discount the army death...especially as the mother is shown as May rather than Mary

MarieCeleste

MarieCeleste Report 2 Jan 2012 14:28

However, May is a common diminuation of Mary .....

(Sorry!)

Thanks A lot.

Yes, you're spot on with the age Jude - see the point you were making.

All this could be sorted with a certificate.

Flick Report 2 Jan 2012 14:39

You haven't acknowledged the posting of a possible emigration............

MarieCeleste

MarieCeleste Report 2 Jan 2012 14:47

Don't think this was clarified:

Births Sep 1915
Brazier Albert E. Constable Kensington 1a 242
The above transcription represents what is in the GRO index but it is referred to by the following entry
Births 1913 Dec: Brazier,Albert [E_],Kensington,1a,See Sept 1915

Births Dec 1913 (>99%)
Brazier Albert [E_] Constable Kensington 1a See Sept 1915

I take this to mean that although he was born 1913 it wasn't registered until 1915?

So is this the 1913 birth for 1982 death that Flick posted?

BradM

BradM Report 2 Jan 2012 14:47

Thanks everyone, I will look into a cert. Which one do you recommend?

Shirley~I,m getting the hang of it Report 2 Jan 2012 15:26

I have already posted that it was late registration

BM you need to get his birth cert of Sept qtr 1915 to see his actual birth date. This may then tie with either of the two deaths that Flick & I posted

BradM Report 2 Jan 2012 15:27

Flick

Flick Report 2 Jan 2012 15:30

You still haven't said that you have taken any notice of the possible emigration info..............

BradM

BradM Report 2 Jan 2012 15:44

Sorry, I will take note of it. Will order a cert and get back to you when I find any information out. :-)

Thanks once again.

I have marked this as answered so that people don't continue to put time and effort in to researching when I need to get a certificate first. Thanks.
