Can anyone check the 1911 I have posted as I think it might be nearer to Mizen than Myer on image

Thanks

I would have thought that the record for Hetty Mizen that jax found was more likely to be the one.

EDIT - jax seems to have deleted her post.

I have been trawling through 15,000 odd records with different spellings of first name and surname but can find no trace of her. Her mother's name was Esther Mizen, and she was abandoned at 5 months old. No father was listed on her Birth certificate. She died in 1920 aged 18 in the workhouse infirmary. The only trace of her would be in the 1911 census at aged 9. I am assuming she was in an orphanage or workhouse in Bury St Edmunds during this time.

This is the death in 1920 (no middle initial given):-

Name: MIZEN, Hilda
Registration District: Bury St. Edmunds
County: Suffolk
Year of Registration: 1920
Quarter of Registration: Jul-Aug-Sep
Age at death: 18
Volume No: 4A
Page No: 728

Is this the correct death?

You should just be able to put in a person's name and the record should appear even if they are in an institution. However I can't find Hilda on the 1911 census on Findmypast. Do you know the names of her parents?

They will be recorded by name in exactly the same way as anyone else.......the only proviso being that the forename may not be in full......it may just be an initial

Can anyone tell me how I can find out where I can find workhouse inmates or orphanages on the 1911 census. My GG grandmother Hilda Ruth Mizen was born 1902 and died 1920. Thanks for any help
