I think Mel that that Gertrude living West Derby in 1891 is the one who married Thomas John Grimmette there in 1893 -they are together with several children in 1901 |

My dad said Arthur is buried in Heathtown Cemetery. I think as this is complicated i will order Richard Dennis' birth and death certs and see where that takes me. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP |

I think the only way to be sure is to order Richard Dennis Taylor's birth certificate (the reference is given earlier). |

I know Michele mentioned Heath Town on page 1, I was questionning how accurate the source of that information was. If Heath Town is close to Bilston then they could have died in hospital in the wrong area, or whilst staying with other family members, even if they lived in Heath Town. |

Ok......But the only death that is showing where you say he died is this one....but he is not old enough to be the one in the census with Gertrude nor was he born in 1882 like your Dad says |

I dont have Arthur death cert but i do know he died in 1947 |

Julie | Report | 6 Nov 2011 13:47 |
But if he was born in 1882 would he have had a child in 1895/6 |

Michele | Report | 6 Nov 2011 13:28 |
oh very strange, my dad did say he was born abt 1882 , but because tha census said he was born in 1871 i just stayed with that date |

Can i just asked cos the only death i can see for an Arthur that died in 1947 & registered in Wolverhampton was 59 so his age isn't matching to a man born in 1871 |

This is a Bartlett who is in the approximate right area in 1891, but called Lizzie- cannot see her birth on free bmd |

Ok i know Arhtur Taylor married Nancy, who on census turned into Gertrude, and all i knew was they had these children |

patchem | Report | 6 Nov 2011 12:37 |
If you look on free bmd for Bartlett births in Cheltenham, there is not really a Nancy either. |
