It was the childrens names and places of birth that corresponded with what I Know about the family. I have found their two oldest daughters for 1861. They are in service...........but cant' find Amelia and George Newland ! |

There are lots of trees on ancestry stating that Amelia married William Hardy and died in Utah USA in 1896. |

Amelia Newland joined the Mormons and move to Salt Lake City 1871 after the death of her father and leaving her husband George behind in Portsmouth. She took most of the children. |
