Gilliam have you tried your local library. Many have free access to Ancestry. You ususally have to book the computer in advance but worth it if you can get to see the records

because, you sound a bit harsh and I am not sure how I could have known that their marriage in 1917 confirmed her address as Parsture Lane and this tied in with Johns Army record date when he mentions a wife living there?

It may be me.....being a bit 'slow' ....but I dont deliberately ask questions twice - just for the sake of it.

On his record he had sister Elizabeth Susan and Florry,I was not sure because this mans father is named John not Arthur.

The soldier also mentions sisters, including Elizabeth and Flory

ON 1881, his father's name has been corrected from Arthur to JOHN
