HeyJudeB4Beatles Report 22 Oct 2011 10:39

My great great grandparents were Thomas Lewellin and Jane Evans.

I have Thomas born ca 1806 in Roath from the censuses 1841 to 1871 and death registration Q4 1877

I have Jane born ca 1804 from same censuses and her death registration in Q2 1877

They married 07.05.1825

On the probate notice for Thomas' death (given as 21 December 1877) the executors were Lewis Llewellyn Blacksmith - my great grandfather and William Evans farmer of Coed-y-cloira Llanedarn.

I have found William in censuses from 1841 to 1871 and from some of these have determined his father was Thomas Evans ca 1801. Thomas is shown as born St Fagans (in 1851 census).

I have put two and two together and surmised that Thomas might be the brother of Jane - is there any way of making this connection?
