Hi all. Just received marriage certificate and Charles's faher name was Francis Usher. i have managed to find him in the cenus back to 1851 and his parents were a James usher born 1821 in Dublin and a Bridget usher born 1817 in County Down Ireland. I cannot find any information for them. Any idea of any web addresses I could look on to try and get any information. many thanks Olwen xx |

Olwen, have you bought Charles and Isabella's marriage certificate please? It should give his age and his father's name and occupation. |

This gets a bit confusing. If this is the same Charles Usher I am looking for, the Mckerna one. He also married an Isabella( her surname being Quinn)in 1913. |
