Thanks,of course in all this it is the Clarke family that are my relatives, through the George Clarke(1866-1910)'s mother "Rosanna" Durber. |

I don't personally think the Zion name is much of a lead.... there are LOADS of them when doing a blanket search on Ancestry of Just Zion & Hanley Staffordshire! |

Many thanks for all the replies,of course I had the marriage for Rosanna's parents. On a related matter,up until this morning I had made an error when adding this family.I had previously found the marriage for a Mount Zion Clarke in Stoke in 1914 to an Albert Edward Bradbury.Up until this morning I had thought it was Mount Zion junior who married the Bradbury.I found the death though of a Mount Bradbury in 1944 and her birth was given as c 1865!So it was Mount Zion senior who married the Bradbury!I did find a later marriage for the Mount Zion junior to a Samuel C Bourne at Northwood Holy Trinity in 1927. |

Mount Zion - what a super name! There is only 1 entry on Freebmd and that is for the marriage. |

My relative Rosanna Clarke was born in Hanley Staffordshire in 1887.She married a Thomas Walters at Northwood Holy Trinity Staffordshire in 1905.I have found a Rosanna Walters given as born in Hanley in 1887,living in the Stoke-On-Trent District of Staffordshire in the 1911 Index. Can anyone show me her household please? |
