Don't know how long the journey would have taken but I looked at records on FMP for the same journey in 1890 and at that time it took around 65 days. |

So replete after the best British beef and yorkies....Lindsey, yes that is the marriage I found earlier...and yes it's a long shot. How does one prove that this is Sarah Barber from Canada? All fits in a conjecture sort of way...he leaves India unmarried in 1858 and comes back to England....meets and married Sarah who is over here with her military father.....shoots off again and starts family in SA.... |
