Thankyou folks, I have the wedding cert for Percy David Simpson and Lizzie Aldcock but wasn't sure until now if these were the people I was looking for. The simple difference in spelling was probably the key all along. I shall try and find my great grandmother Hilary Jane (Gordon) from this. Can't thank you enough.

Please help, I am trying to find the mother and father of HILARY JANE GORDON b.1893 and JOHN CHARLES GORDON b.1891. On Hillarys marriage cert it names her father as Charles Gordon and on Johns it names William Gordon. on both it claims that he was a solicitor but Ive no idea where or when he was born. Hillary and John only appear in the 1911 census. Any help or ideas would be great. Thanks :-)
