Find Ancestors

Please help, I am trying to find the mother and father of HILARY JANE GORDON b.1893 and JOHN CHARLES GORDON b.1891. On Hillarys marriage cert it names her father as Charles Gordon and on Johns it names William Gordon. on both it claims that he was a solicitor but Ive no idea where or when he was born. Hillary and John only appear in the 1911 census. Any help or ideas would be great. Thanks :-)

Thankyou folks, I have the wedding cert for Percy David Simpson and Lizzie Aldcock but wasn't sure until now if these were the people I was looking for. John Charles married Edith emily astley in 1914 and Hilary jane married john whele in 1922/23.

Hi Maryb,
Percy seems to be on a differnent page or absent from the premises on the 1901 census record. Lizzie is at the top of the page and is listed as wife and John Charles is listed as stepson. Hilary Jane is totally missing from the record suggesting she was elswhere also?
