Thanks to everybody for all the research & comments - much appreciated Perchino - your comment about Hamber Lilburn Douglas Newton A. 5b 143
Eliza, Leila as she was known was pregnant the same time as my great gran. Don't know who she was visiting but she gave birth 118 Newton Abbott Road, Devon, England. She returned to London and had him baptised just before he died.
She must have known about his other family. Lilburn senior was sick living at Hastings, East Sussex England 4 Victoria Cottages, Paddock Wood, Kent. Emma Mouton his childhood nanny ref 1861 census and went to look after him & was with him when he died.
Regarding the Webmaster site- I've been in contact but some of his info is wrong and the Hamber line is not being update.
Chris I registered with the Lancashire newspaper online website. Spent half the night going through all the Hambers - found a few with addittonal information. A site I'm going to find very useful for other research.
I've been downloading some of the ships manifests on GR. Thanks for the William Ernest Browing 1911 info - will download it. Would never have found it on my own. The main reason I've been looking for Frances 1911 census to see how many children she gave birth to. As they all except for Francis Arthur Werger Hamber don't seem to have birth certs it is the only way to find out if she had any other children who may have died.
Francis Arthur has a birth cert but after 1871 I've can't find him
Gosh this is long but the info & advise I'm getting from everybody is worth it :-D

Glad to see you joined the Library Susanne, plenty of BMD's in there!, 19th Century Newspapers is the one, then you can narrow it down by years search, and then category People...the Births are small snippets usually just saying 'of a son or daughter', funnily enough I can't see one for Francis Arthur, or more for him after 1871...(the outgoing Passenger Lists on Find My Past start at 1890 - 1960 if he went earlier) but not seeing anything on Ancestry with a general search of his name.
All very interesting, just need Frances 1911...

The William Ernst Browning marriage is reference page 517 but Frances Jane Sarah Hamber reference is page 518. The only way to be sure is to obtain a copy of Frances Jane Sarah Hamber's marriage certificate under these references:
Year of Marriage 1904 Quarter of Marriage Oct-Nov-Dec Registration District Lanchester Registration County Durham Spouse's Surname Only available for records after 1912
Free BMD: Gatis Henry Lanchester 10a 518 Hamber Frances Jane S Lanchester 10a 518 King Elizabeth Beatrice Lanchester 10a 518 Palmer Robert Wharton Lanchester 10a 518 Tweddle Jane Lanchester 10a 518
Volume Number 10A Volume Page 518
Henry Gatis is another possible husband.

1911 Low greencroft Lanchester Durham Henry gattis 1880 Jane (Tweddle)? 1886 married 6years = 1904 as above.
So that is Robert W Palmer with Beatrice in 1911 Henry Gattis and Jane in 1911
So that leaves Frances and William Browning!! We have found William Ernst Browning in 1911 and Frances J S Browning's death,so what are the chances of Frances not marrying William Ernst Browning or am I missing something.

Looks as though there is a problem in the original record as the page references are not consistent in two sources. The only way to be sure is to obtain a copy of the marriage certificate.

Gosh just seen all the messages. It is the same marriage - I followed the addreses carefully and they are same as 2 of the Hamber children. The original entry was incorrectly spelt and amended. The conclusion is the death notice The Times, Thursday, May 27, 1915; pg. 1 which was put in the paper by her son Major L S B Hamber saying Frances wife of William Ernst browning widow of Frederick Marsh hamber died 22 May 1915 age 82 Canada newspapers to note The adress is the same as Williams 1911 census. Lancelot Cecil Bray Hamber uk adress who lived in Canada
The only thing left is where was she in 1911 :-D
