My grandafter was born in 1900 in West Pelton. His name was Joseph Meadows. His parents were William and Mary. He had numerous brothers and sisters with names like Martha, Esther, Donald-all older than him. They are all therein 1901 census. There seems to be no recordof any of them in the 1911 census, anywhere. I know at some point - not sure when-his father (a miner) died. Have tried searching under mother's maiden name (McCabe) and the surname of her second husband (White) but can't find them. |
