Maybe George Harding wasn't actually her husband which is why she married Nicholas Lacey in 1915 under she maiden name

My husband great grandfather was Harold Henry Hadring born 17 December 1906 Chirstchurch Bournemouth.

Father is George John Harding Master Greengrocer and Mothr Alice Lavina Harding nee White living at 96 Stewart Road Bournemouth.

Harold married Jane Elizabeth Plant 04 April 1931 Coventry. His Father George is deceased.

I have today been to the local FHC and looked at the electoral registers to try and find Harolds family.

In 1933 Harold is living with his wife Jane and a Nicolas Lacey. In 1932 It is Nicholas Lacey and Alice Lavina Lacey and again in 1931.

At the time of Harolds marriage he put the address as 50 St Margarets Road this is the address I have checked and as you will see in both 1931 and 1933 Harold is not listed so where is he?

Harold is aged 24 on his marriage certifciate and is bachelor, mechanic motor car adjustments:

Also note Alice Lavina Lacey is livng with Nicholas Lacey as her husband could she have remarried. I cannot find a marriage for a Harding to a Lacey.

50 St Margarets Road Coventry was the family home.

Can anyone hlep with this?

Many thanks
Candis
