Find Ancestors

Im looking for the parents of John Morris Morralley 1903 - 1970.
His mother was called Ellen and he married Amy Jane Phillips.

I found the census form of 1911 but Ellen is the head of the family and living with 2 sons (John and Earnest)


can anyone help?

Was Earnest perhaps born before 1901 so that we could find the family on that census?
Where were they born from the 1911 census and where were they living?

I've found an census from 1891 for Ellen Lousia Jay.

She was in a childrens hospital in bristol when she was 10.


is there anyway i can find out what was wrong with her???

And would anyone know the reason why i cant find John Morris Morralley's (the father) birth certificate?? i found his marriage and death but no joy on the birth??

Looks as if her parents also included her on the 1891 census

Do you have the 1900 marriage cert?

His birth might not have been registered as not compulsory until 1875

Yes i have the marriage certifacate but not the birth.. this would make sense as i couldnt find it anywhere!
I was just really wanted to know more about him.

I also couldnt find him on any censuses either? nor his daughter phoebe?
