Fits in with living with grandparents and a brother John but not born Devon but Wales as per 1911 census.....but they are living in Devon so perhaps this is where the Devon comes from? So she "came from Devon" suppose it doesn't mean she was born there.

Well Bessie yoe was supposed to have a married a higgins, and lived with her husband in ripley rd belevedere, which fits in well with the 1911 census! All these bits that have been written down are quite old, i would say possibly prewar so all a bit mixed up !

He was Thomas + Besie's son ??

Where does Frederick Higgens fit in?

I have the following info written on an old piece of paper from years ago.
Bessie Yoe came form Devonshire. She had one brother called John who was a postmaster. Her mother and father were killedin a pony and trap accident whilst she was very young.so she was raised by her grandmother.She was a nurse for several years.
Also Our great great grandmother Sopa lived to be 102.
We are not sure whom 'our' is referring to!
