1841 for Mary Kelly definitely show not born in county. So, the births Mel found are probably not her. |

Hey Mel, I saw that one in Iddlesleigh, but then there was about about half dozen in the same place with same parents so I discounted it. But being such a religious family it seems unlikely that they would not have christened her. Grr! |

The 1841 Census for England was taken on the night of 6 June 1841. Mary Kelly (Hally) was about 3 months old then. So the birth should be Jan Feb Mar 1841. It was'nt compulsary to register a birth until 1875 when you were fined for not registering. |
