Hi, Thanks for having a look. I have the family in the 1881 census as head-Benjamin Cole,1845,marylebone,job;painter, wife;Harriett Cole,1885,Greenwich & Benjamin, 1875,Marylebone, no daughters on it. so assume the Misses, if Harriett's daughters were born between 1881-1896, Can't believe I haven't put ships name in my notes!! but it left Liverpool on the 23/07/1896, destinations was Boston,USA Couldn't find father on the list, but it was along time ago when I looked.had almost given up. Kath..
I'm having trouble in locating them in the census.. I looked in 1840, none with a Micheal, same for 1850.
In 1860 there's one born 1839 in Ireland, living in New York with a Michael but born 1815 Ireland. I think that one are brothers.
Sorry, cannot find them 2 together.

Hi T, Thanks for your kind offer of help. I found my husband's great aunt's marriage last week in the Liverpool parish records.
Her name was Catherine Elizabeth Williams born 1880 in Liverpool and married James Duncan McBride on 31-1- 1903 in Liverpool. They had two sons Sydney James McBride born 1904 in Liverpool and Norman McBride born 15-12-1905 also in Liverpool.
I think they emigrated to America possibly New York.
I have an old Christmas card list belonging to my father in law which i was looking at yesterday and see he sent cards to a Thelma McBride 10 Highland Park Place New York and a Mrs Nessy Gordon 71 Lawfield Road New York.
I had no idea who these people were as I didnt know any family were in the USA but now think it must have been some of the family . I now wish I had asked him these questions before it was too late.
I would be very grateful for anything you can find. Regards, Sorcha

I had a thread on Harry but no one could find anything on him but as you (T) found the Tant marriage which no one could find before when I was looking for it, I thought it would be fine to ask you as you are doing America lookups.

T,
I've just noticed on the "Tant" lookup it has -
"Olaf O Tant 23 Son in Law - At Sea"
Why is his name Tant if he's a son in law?

Hi T, It's me again, don't want you getting bored. lol.
Can you please find anything on Harry Campbell, he was born c1905 possibly Massachusettes, his father was William Campbell born 1872 in Greenock, Scotland. I don't know who Harrys mother was. Harrys uncle and auntie looked after him for about a year (they lost their son) nothing more can be found on Harry, maybe his parents died.
I'd appreciate your help again.
