Hi T,
I would very much like to know if you can find any records on a family named Langham. William 1844 and Lucy 1846 married in Holborn London in 1866
I cannot find them in the 1871 England and Wales census. but have found birth records for 4 children between 1868 and 1871 born in Holborn, London.
On the 1881 census they are living in Clerkenwell London but have 2 other children Hannah aged nine birthplace New York and Daniel 6 birthplace Ontario Canada.
I would be grateful if you could find me any information as to where they may have been in these missing years.

Hi T
You kindly looked for a James Earley b abt 1838 in New York and a Michael Earley b Ireland but couldn't find any fitting the dates but you gave me the ones you did find and I asked if you could give me the details, I'm asking again as you may not have seen my reply. Also could you have a look for a Elizabeth Snow born Ireland in 1888, she lived in Chicago and San Diego, her husband Alfred died in 1923 in Chicago, could you have a look to see if she married again and if she had any children.
Many thanks Kath

Hi T, I have been searching for my father and I have got so far but I seem to have hit a brick wall. I lost touch with him when my mother and I left new York in 1952 to come back to Blackburn Lancashire. Through searching I have found he following information - Michael Larkin B:10 May 1918 in New York D:25 Sep 1998 in Miami, Miami-Dade, Florida, United States of America I wrote to the office in Florida but they replied that they had no record of him, and so I do not know how to go further. I understand that he remarried and that I may have half brothers and/or sisters but i am not sure, information from my mother was reluctantly given. If you could advise or point me in the right direction I will be most grateful. If not then thanks for taking the time to read this and good searching.

Hi T
Any chance you could trace Cherie/Cherry Frampton she arrived in 1912 on the St Paul in New York from Ireland age 17. According to the information on the ships manifesto she was going to stay with her aunt Mary Shippard in New York the had her surname as Frampton Walshi (her mothers name was Sarah Walsh) Have searched but found no other information of her in America. she had an Aunt and Uncle who settled in Cook Chicago and I know her brother William settled there as well.

Hi T I wonder if you could find out anything about a David Duhig born 1874 Limerick Ireland. He emigrated to the USA aged 19 on the 19th May 1893. I believe he did have a family, but I don't know who he married. But he was single when he left Ireland. He died in New Mexico don't know the date. Anything you could find out would be great. Thanks Lesley

Hi T, Thanks for your generous offer. Could you please have a look at my thread: http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/boards.page/board/ancestors/thread/1272390 I've had a lot of help in sorting this tangled web but would like to tie up a few loose ends. There is an obituary on Ancestry for Mrs. Letitia Judge Mott in the Bridgeport Post (Fairfield Connecticut) 27 Oct 1967 widow of Harold B Mott. I don't have an Ancestry sub so can't read it all! I also found 1930 US Fed census: Harold V Mott age 36 Bridgeport Lettia age 42 and 3 children Harold van Valkenburgh Mott enlisted in 1942 giving contact Letitia Mott - same address as him. His dob 16.07.1890 There is also a draft card for WW1 for him, but I can't read details of that. Could you please have a look at the above and see if you can find a marriage for Harold and Letitia Judge. Many thanks Barry

I posted a thread on 1 Jun about the Oliver family. I am now trying to find the actual birth of Harold Marshall Oliver. There are various years given, 1921 to 1924, from the censuses, etc. Harold was born in Detroit, Michigan, to parents Harry Huggard Oliver and/or Margaret (Myrtle) Willard or Anne (surname unknown). He went to the UK with the military during the war, met and married his wife, then went to live in Canada. I don't know when he left USA for Canada. I would like to find at least his true year of birth.
Thanks Yvonne
