Herman Christian Name is of German origin and means "soldier". Perhaps he was more comfortable using Ernest if he served in wartime. |

Sorry also a bit confusing as Blanch is written as 2 the same as Joseph but in the 1911 censor where Joseph is then called Ernest is written as 9 and Blanch younger |

Yes the Ernest Buzza is the one I found as we always knew him as Ernest but on the visit we was told that he was Joseph Ernest but only ever used his middle name as did his wife. |
