Nor can I see any record of Basil travelling to Australia, or indeed anywhere else, in or around 1931. |

Not sure how you should approach this one really as obviously he could be anywhere, even assuming he is still alive. Have had a quick look for tree matches on here and Ancestry but nothing obvious. Maybe you need to establish some facts first? For example, are you saying there should be a birth of a Basil Shipley 1924 in England, as I can't see this? |

Hi I am trying to find a person by the name of Anthony Shipley. He was in the Royal Artillery Hong Kong in 1956. I am looking on behalf of a friend. He was born in 1930 to a Conway Shipley and a Margaret Shipley. Not sure where ,but Conway died in Tramore Ireland in Nov 1st 1956. I live in Australia and so does my friend. Anthony Shipley is her fathers nephew, his brother Conway was a lot older than her father. Her father was born in England in 1924. Her father Basil Charles was sent to Australia in 1931. |
