Ada Wagstaff 21yrs spinster of 31 Mount St, father Matthew Wagstaff, Licensed Victualler.
Witnesses Matthew Wagstaff & Ellen Aldred Taylor.

Still looking for the other marriage as have to do it church by church.

5 Feb 1780 Thomas Nailer & Ann Godber both of Basford witnesses John Handley & Thomas Birch.
11 Dec 1785 William Ollingworth & Mary Godber both of Basford witnesses Thomas Birch & Thomas Birch Junior.

I think you mean 1897 not 1987 and Isaac married at St Nicholas Church on 3 June 1897 so can check that marriage for you.
And will do my best to find the 1923 one.

Isaac should be the father of Matthew and Peter H Taylor might be down as the father fo Isaac
