Hi Wendy
I am looking for a christening of Susannah Collingwood, born about 1760. I noticed that, according to the census, some of the other Collingwoods in the area of Lincolnshire where she lived, were born in Misterton. Does the index you have cover Misterton around that date?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you very much Wendy. That helps a lot.
I have looked at a lot of registers in and around where she lived and found only one Susannah - christened at Fishlake in Yorkshire. Eliminating Misterton means that she probably is the right one - even though the the age at burial is quite a long way out.
I think some of the people you have listed are part of my sister in law's family - which I have also traced. So you have helped in two ways.
Thanks again
Christine

Hi Dannie,
Sorry to take so long, I haven't found him anywhere in Nottinghamshire, some of the records are very hard to read for the 1600's. On the I.G.I there is a Daniel Standley son of Robert christened May 1665 so could be him.
I'll keep looking for him.

Hello again
William Peel's parents were Richard Peel & Mary Peel who married at Nottingham St John's on 22 Feb 1857. I am trying to find out how they were related. I think they were 2nd cousins, but a marriage lookup would help prove it ( hint hint !!) I am hoping Richards father was Thomas and Marys father was William. If you are going to the archives again before christmas maybe you have have a quck look for me. No rush as it's a busy time of year only when you have the time.
Regards & thanks Carol
