My Aunt was married to Magnus Lauritz Olsen, born 1913 • Tjodalyng, Norway..He died 27 FEB 1991 • Blairgowrie, Perthshire, Scotland. My Aunt was Ann (Annie) Esplin and they were married 05 08 1967 • Norway.. Magnus wrote the book Saga of the white Horizon.
Ann and Magnus met during the war and Magnus regained contact with her in the mid 1960s
I believe he was married before because when he died his daughter contested his will.
I have a small photo (head and shoulders) of him in later life and more than happy to share it with you.
I would appreciate and detail you may have on him.
Regards
Eric Bayne

As you'll know, your aunt's death notice in The Scotsman and the Edinburgh Evening News describes him as "Captain Magnus Lauritz Olsen, Norwegian War Hero".
