Maureen thats what they told me about my problem of C & P things for people on the TTF boards from Ancestry. when I post the details they come out elongated and not in the usual format. They told me the site was not campatable with IE9 which my hubby had just put me on on Sunday. Now he can't get me back to IE8.

I did love the reply Flick received:
"GR have replied stating they are unable to recreate the problem and telling me to change my search engine to deal with it".

Why would that help????

According to the post on Facebook this problem has now been fixed.

I wonder if this message will get posted on the boards.

If you can read this then hopefully the problem has been solved.

You can do post than one line as long as you don't hit enter. the text has to continuous

There is a post on the Announcements board - they want people to email them.

So you cant do more than one line no paragraphs or spaces so you can enter your name?

Same problem with me - curly brackets coming up and I could not add to a thread. However it did allow me to send the same message to the poster. Extremely frustrating

So they can admit on facebook that there is an error, but not bother to post anything about it where it MATTERS, for those who PAY for their wretched site.I never use facebook as I think it's an abomination
