cant make that out, they turn up as Mr and mrs Nurse in the next census and the only marriage I can see is 1906 for them, she is Frances Chapple, so I cant see how he is bro-in-law ?
Then he turns up in 1930 census living alone. man of mystery ?

Ellis Island has Jabez Luke Crosland arriving New York 7 Feb. 1909 but he's aged 50. he was born Nottingham and his wife was Margaret Crosland, Wilford, Nottingham.
