Hi all, still no closer to finding his parents, i did get alfreds marriage cert having him down as aged 24 when he married and his father was matthew tregunno who was desceased. |

MaureenNY has give you the most likely birth for Alfred. It looks like the age given on the CWGC website is inaccurate and that he was, in fact born in 1915. The birth that Maureen has given has the correct surname and correct maiden surname for his mother. It looks (from the marriage details that Maureen has posted) that his mother had also been married previously. |

found out about it via my nan, that is the right record as my nan said sometimes she wrote her name beggining with an A and other times an O, my nan said she has no idea why she did that for. |

If that's him on the CWGC that I have posted, then I am wondering if Elizabeth was his step mother? The marriage for Matthew and Elizabeth was registered June 1914. Alfred appears to have died on the 5 November 1944 aged 31 - so born 1913? |
